Description
This is an original MCA Records edition (not Columbia Record Club or BMG Record Club) of the first solo album by Tom Petty, Full Moon Fever, released in 1989. Very few copies of this recording were pressed on vinyl as compared to CD recordings, and has become very difficult to find in as clean a condition as is this one.
As to grading, I grade very conservatively following Goldmine Record grading standard. Except that for records that are a notch below near mint, rather than VG ++, I prefer to use grade of Excellent. I do not use VG++ grade in addition to Excellent grade as is done by some.
The LP is in near mint condition and plays very quietly as tested using headphones. Please note that this was cleaned before testing which was done few weeks before listing and done by hand and not machine. It should be cleaned again before listening. The cover is in excellent condition. The corner at the lower mouth is slightly crimped but the other three corners are very nice and sharp. There are several short is a creases on the front and back of cover. The seams and spine are very strong and clean with no splits and the product information is clearly readable on spine. The front and back of cover overall are in very clean condition with vibrant color.
The LP is being sold without reserve and payment is expected within 3 days of auction close. Return of the LP will only be accepted if the same LP sold and shipped is returned. Buyers that behave in a less than ethical manner will be reported and blocked from participation in future auctions.
If you bid on and win more than one item shipping for multiple purchases will be adjusted. If you win more than one item do not pay until I have had the opportunity to issue new invoice to reflect combined lower shipping cost. Shipping for one item is $3.50 and includes tracking.
