Up for sale is this Tom Waits – Small Change – Singer Songwriter-Jazz Rock Vinyl LP

This Grammy winning artist has never realized enormous commercial success.  He has earned a huge cult-like following of devoted fans around the world with his exceptional songwriting and unique vocal style.  Some of his best-known compositions became hits as covers for other performers.  This was his third album and, much like his first two, it’s very much a jazz album.  Famed jazz drummer Shelly Manne plays the drums, and Wait’s Satchmo like vocals are backed additionally with piano, upright bass, and saxophone.  The compositions here are stunning in their beauty.  This is one of his most critically acclaimed releases.  It’s a terrific collection that was released on Asylum in 1976, number 7E-1078.
