Egil Monn-Iversen Tonny OST cover mint / record vg surface scratches First time on Ebay and first time presented to the world, this is both Norways first jazz lp and OST in one LP. The reason why it has never been listed anywhere is that nobody knew it existed. Rumors was in jazz circles was that Egil Monn Iversen had released a 7” to the film Line with the band Passionate Demons, with only a few copies known, but his other film from 1961 with jazz music was never relased people said. But when actors that had worked on the film started dying some copies started showing up all marked "not for sale". The story is this, it was pressed in 200 copies and given out to people on the set and sent to as promo to companies in the states where Egil Monn-Iversen wanted to work as a film composer. The band here is the Norwegian State Broadcasting orchestra with different jazzers joining in. The only written proof is that Kristian Bergheim is mentioned as Sax soloist on the cover. This record is signed by Egil Monn-Iversen (its started to fade). Probably Norways rarest jazz record! The real gem here the jazz track the plumbers blues by Monn-Iversen, Norways first jazz track on LP, 2 years before the Metropol Jazz LP!
