Description
Buffalo, New York's own Tony Galla and the Rising Sons. This record was our favorite back then and has become a much sought after Northern Soul classic. We always knew what a great record it was but we didn't know it had achieved such world wide fame. Our local DJ for WKBW 1520 AM radio, Joey Reynolds discovered Tony Galla and he wrote the flip side of this record. But it's the A side, "In Love" that is just killer. It has a great rhythm section that really shows up and sounds off on this 45. It's over laid with a pounding piano and great vocals. But the thing that makes the record so special to me is that great hammond organ sound that I can't get enough of. Quite a bit like Rod Argent or Steve Winwood here, bluesy and soulful. The deadwax has hand etched S-4275-1 Virtue. The VINYL: is in Very Good ( VG ) condition. It still has plenty of the original shine with some light scuffing. No deep scratches. Both sides play all the way through without any skips or pops. Some background noise is present but doesn't detract from the record once the music is going. Plays Great - Sounds Great! The LABELS: are in Very Good ( VG ) condition. They have some light soiling as seen in the pictures. A name has been written on the A side only.Bid with confidence! This is a very worthy copy of this classic record that is very scarce and doesn't come up very often. It is 100% guaranteed to be in the condition described. I will not ship to Italy, France or Brazil. The record will be insured and carefully packaged.
