Description
You are bidding on what, in my opinion, is the best ever version of Love Potion No 9. The record is on Pye 7N15766 released in 1966, and backed by a superb version of "Fortune Teller." Tony Jackson was the Bass guitarist and lead vocalist with the Searchers until striking out on his own in an attempt to find solo fame, unfortunately unsuccessfully. Despite making some extremely good recordings, solo and with The Vibrations, (Black Jake) as Tony was known in some parts unfortunately died on the 18th August 2003 aged 63.
The disc is in mint- condition on both sides and plays supremely well with no clicks pops or distortion. The labels themselves are in brilliant condition and show no signs of spindle marks. It is supplied in an original company sleeve and in addition will be protected with a shaped plastic record sleeve, placed inside the original company sleeve.
The item will be securely packaged and a refund will be given if not completely satisfied with the purchase, subject to return of goods within 7 days.
Due to the rarity and condition of this item there is a sensible starting price and I must stress NO BUY NOW WILL BE ENTERTAINED.
