Description
Up for sale is this RARE original authentic 1st edition of any commercial issued record in the world with The Beatles on the labels. This is the first January 1962 pressing with the thick lettering on the labels. Later in 1963 the record was issued with thin print on the labels after Beatlemania was taking over England. The record is in very good condition with light play wear & great looking labels. The label on side 2 is stamped 'Deleted' since the record was not going to be pressed any more because of the lack sale. Probably the only record store that was selling the single was Brian Epstein's store in Liverpool. This recording has Pete best as drummer since Ringo Starr was not in the band at this earlier time. The Beatles were teenagers performing in Hamburg & were a backing band for Tony Sheridan on these recordings. Also included is the original Polydor company 1962 company sleeve in very good+ shape. This HOLY GRAIL The Beatles memorabilia item is featured on my latest YouTube video short on my 'MR Stickermania' channel. This is the first time i have ever owned the original first press of the single. Have owned the 1963 reissue several times before in my 50 year of collectin The Beatles. Thanks Frank
