Description
Up for sale is a really great OG copy of Tool Ænema. It wasn't easy, but I've decided to sell one of my favorite albums. I have a sealed copy, so it's time to pass the torch to another fan.
I bought this in 2020 from its original owner and I played it once. It doesn’t appear to have been played much. It's not quite near mint, but it's been handled well over the years and, at the very least, rates as a solid VG+.
I tried to take pictures of anything one might label a "flaw," so please check those out.
Condition:
Cover: Minor wear on front and back cover, the corners aren't perfect, and there are a couple of small creases. See pics. The spine has a slight bend as well. That said, for a record over 25 years old, the cover looks great.
Inners: really solid. See pics.
Vinyl: This is the second copy I've owned, and both have very thin paper-marks/hairlines that look like thin scratches, but they cannot be felt and they don't affect play.
They can only been seen under certain lighting/angles. There's currently a comment on Discogs where a user said this happened directly after opening a copy, but who knows. That's about it for flaws. Both LP's are in great shape.
Overall, it's a great copy. I'm looking to get this to a good Tool fan (I've seen them live 20+ times), so make me an offer. I'll double-box it to make sure it arrives safely.
Note: I don't have a turntable and haven't listened to this in 3 years (I listened once when I bought it), so I can't test it, but it played great back in the day and has been in MoFI sleeves ever since. I'll ship with the records outside of the sleeve to avoid seam-splits (you can have the MoFI sleeves too).
I'm looking to move this relatively quickly.
For this price and/or a fair offer, you already can’t find a better copy online, so only send real offers please.
Thanks for looking.
