Description

Storyville STLP 912, original red label, deep groove. Presented by George Wein. 9 tracks with Ed Thigpen, drums and Paul Chambers, bass. Rare. Cover: VG gto VG+ 3" top edge split; 4" split on spine. Light aging on the back cover. Small black tape (approx. 1"x3/8") on the margin of the back cover. Record: VG+ to mint(-) Visually, Side A shows some light surface rub marks. Sidej B has much fewer markings. Except for some occasional infrequent clicks (about the same amount in each side), there is no surface noise. The described rub marks have little or no effect on the sound. There may also be some inherent noise from the pressing. Most of the record plays with no surface noise, but I have described the audible noise heard. There are no visual signs of wear. Audibly checked
