Description
Vinyl has been ultra sonically cleaned, sleeved (inner/outer), and fully play tested.
Well while you can buy a new repress of this album there’s nothing quite like having and holding an original copy. Original like the man Townes Van Zandt himself.
This is on the Poppy label-a true 1971 original first pressing.
Vinyl: Conservative VG (vinyl has a pretty nice gloss, while not covered in hairlines and sleeve scuffs there are some present. Nothing with texture. Side 1 SONG 1 plays with constant but very light crackle then it fades out. The rest of the album has places with some light crackle and “chatter”.
Side 2-light to moderate crackle that’s constant in Song 1. Song 2 has sub-dominate to light crackle that’s also constant and a couple of very light sub-dominate pops. Song 3 starts with constant crackle but fades out. For the rest of the album it plays very strong-nothing constant just some quick, light crackle.
I found it to still be an enjoyable listen even with the flaws present. No warps. No skips.)
Cover: VG/VG- (cover comes off how Townes lived his life: hard. Corner wear, lots of heavy chipping-mostly at spine and bottom seam. Not seeing any splits however. Discoloration marks on front/back.)
Original Poppy inner sleeve present-handling wear.
Ships correctly. I use appropriate shipping materials. No odd packaging. Old album covers and/or cardboard stiffeners will be used. Fast turn around shipping-same day or the next-if not during the weekend/holiday.
See my feedback and buy with confidence.
Vinyl is housed in an anti-static inner sleeve.
