Description

This is Poppy Records PYS 40,0001, Townes Van Zandt For The Sake Of The Song, an early stereo issue of this classic record. The record is visually in near mint condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. I'm pretty certain it had never been played or been played only once before I play graded it. The original cover has a bit of loss on the upper left and a hole punch but still is excellent and intact. The labels are excellent and show no spindle marks. Some contemporaneous articles and reviews collected by the original owner are included. This is a superb collector's grade copy of this rare issue. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.  Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple orders. Thanks for looking.
