Description

PLEASE NOTE: The split / damage to the base of the outer cover of 'The Blue Meaning' record (see photograph) was there when it was bought 'new' and was not a result of mistreatment on my part, honest Guv! Similarly the pen mark on the rear cover of the same record (see photograph also). Please only bid on these items with the understanding of these imperfections, sadly 'used' records are very rarely 100% perfect!
Toyah Records - 2 Coloured Vinyls
The Blue Meaning (Sky Blue Coloured Vinyl) LP Record - Great Expectations Re-Issue PIP LP 015  and Toyah! Toyah! Toyah! (White Vinyl) Live LP Record - Great Expectations Re-Issue PIP LP  016

I refuse to overstate the condition of items that I am selling just to get them sold or to achieve a higher price than would be the case by telling it exactly how it is, so here is my very honest assessment, I have no wish to mislead potential buyers to bring in bids or inflated bids. These records are in 'Very Good' to 'Excellent' condition and have been very well looked after and cared for, I bought them both from 'new' and they have been very carefully stored (away from all sunlight, smoke free home always) in an LP case for the last 25 years or more and have not been played since initial purchase which was a very long time ago! I very recently play-tested both records three times to check on them and write this description, they both played really well, no skips or sticks or jumps on either record and relatively little background noise on either too. Both were a joy to listen to again! A little background crackle on the quiet intro of 'Ieya' (around 25 seconds) on the 'Blue Meaning' album and that's about it. I would say they both play excellently throughout all considered. Holding the vinyls under the light, there are relatively few marks and scratches on either disc, most tracks visually appear 'Mint' on the actual records themselves when held under light apart from 'Victims of the Riddle' 'Indecision' and 'Danced' on the Live Record which do have marks on them but still play excellently!
All four labels on the records are excellent.
I do not think the photographs really do these records justice as sadly there has been all too little sunlight when I have had the time to take photographs. .
Best of luck, happy bidding, feel free to make me an offer!
