Description

Hello and welcome to myauction for this copy of Tracy Chapman's debut LP. It's a 1stissue Yugoslavian copy from 1988 on Elektra/Jugoton, and is completewith printed inner sleeve .

I've been collectingmusic for 45 years, but have recently decided to drastically slimdown my vinyl collection, therefore you might want to check my otheritems for some desirable records from the 1970s through to the 2000s.You might find some items of interest and you could benefit fromcombined postal discount

I've always cared formy records, played them on high quality gear at low tracking forcesand stored them upright within PVC sleeves. All my listings will beplay-graded with a full description of what I hear. I know what'simportant to you as a vinyl fanatic, and I won't shy away fromtelling you about any defects I find.

Cover Type:Smooth thin card..

Cover Condition:There is a small amount of wear affecting the spine and bottom edge.The printing on the spine is fully legible. The disc imprint isvisible on the front face and there is one small spot of burringalong it..

Inner Sleeve:Printed thin card inner, fine condition, supplemented with ananti-static liner.

Play Area VisualCondition: Both sides are clean, no serious marks.

Label Condition: Both labels are clean with no spindle marks.

Playback Comments:This album plays almost perfectly. Nothing bad to report. If I werebringing this home today from a record shop I'd be very happy withit as a new purchase.

One note about“hairline” and “scuff” marks. These marks, mostly visible inthe runout deadwax sections are caused by slipping the record in andout of the inner sleeve, and are present on most used records, seenwhen inspected under bright light. They generally don't affect theplayback quality, because the stylus of a properly configuredturntable sits within the groove, not above it, and it doesn't pickup any unwanted noise from surface marks. I therefore don't mentionsurface marks in the visual grading reports, unless I feel they areunusually severe and are contributing to flaws I hear in the audiograding section.
