Traffic - John Barleycorn - Island Stereo LP ILPS 9116  1970 1st Pressing

Matrix numbers:  All handwritten.  Side 1 ILPS 9116 A/2  UAS 5504A 6370

Side 2  ILPS 9116 B/2   UAS 5504B 6370

Regarded by many as Traffic's finest album this is a masterpiece of progressive music.  The line up of Steve Winwood, Chris Wood and Jim Capaldi gives it the original and unique sound of the band. Winwood's vocals are, as usual, spot on.

Vinyl: Both sides near mint and with high gloss.

Labels: Pink 'i' labels. Side 1 near mint Side 2 has light spindle marks only. 

Dustcover: VG+ Plain white plastic lined. Creased corners.

Cover: E J Day soft gatefold in what appears like recycled card hence the mottled appearance. Front has a small crease to the opening edge midway up.. There is some rub wear to top and bottom seams. Back and inside of gatefold are as new. Spine is excellent. Minor rub to corners. (NB the rub wear is inevitable given the cover material)
