Description
Artist & Title: Traffic – Last Exit
Very rare original 1969 UK first pressing 7-track LP on the pink 'eye' logo Island label with the second side recorded live at the Fillmore West. The sleeve shows minimal general shelfwear and is close to an excellent grading. The vinyl is amazing with just a few very light crackles here and there at loud volume levels (which those of us used to listening to old records don’t even notice) to show for the last 44 years. A very commendable EX- copy of this rare original pressing at an advantageous price.
Highly desirable for its first pressing matrices and “Bulls Eye” label, and increasingly difficult to find in good condition, this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity to add this extreme rarity to your collection at an extremely advantageous price.

This very rare 1969 UK FIRST PRESSING LP from after the initial breakup of the band is hardly ever offered for sale in this condition.
This is the extremely rare real thing: a GENUINE UK first pressing in Excellent Minus condition. The record, cover and inner sleeve are all in excellent condition, without any major defects like scratches, tears, stickers, writing, creases, dog ears, stains and the like. See pics. All items are the genuine originals bought together by me in 1969 not reprints or replacements. The LP is the original UK first issue stereo LP, which was only played occasionally on top-end audiophile equipment and lovingly cared for.
THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST EXAMPLES OF THIS IMPORTANT ROCK ALBUM EVER OFFERED FOR SALE IN RECENT TIMES
“(And I love the acoustic guitar work in "Shanghai Noodle Factory").”
Traffic were an English rock band whose members came from the West Midlands. The group formed in April 1967 by Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi, Chris Wood and Dave Mason. They began as a psychedelic rock group whose early singles were influenced by The Beatles, and diversified their sound through the use of instruments such as keyboards like the Mellotron, reed instruments, and by incorporating jazz and improvisational techniques in their music. Their first three singles were "Paper Sun", "Hole in My Shoe", and "Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush".
After disbanding in 1969, during which time Winwood joined Blind Faith, Traffic reunited in 1970 to release the critically acclaimed album John Barleycorn Must Die. The band's line-up varied from this point until they disbanded again in 1975, although a partial reunion, with Winwood and Capaldi, took place in 1994.
In 2004, Traffic was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
