Having always had the original CD single for this re-issue I didn't own the picture disc until recently, yet in nearly 30 years I never seen anyone mention this...
Honey Honey on the picture disc is not the versionon other formats (or at least the CD single). The CD single version is moreacoustic and ends on Honey Honey Sweet Babyyyy, with a synth chord until thefade. The picture disc version is more bassy and beaty throughout and lessacoustic, and ends up on the same lyric, but keeps going with a drum beat untilfade which other versions (CD single) does not have.
Having now Wav'd both and beat matched them, thedifference is obvious, but that's the first I ever knew there were otherversions of Honey Honey. simply going by running time doesn't show there isdifferent version as they aren't listed as such and the timing isn't 100%identical on both tracks to notice a difference in time.
Thought I'd add that as a point of interest as forthe last 30 years I been listening to one version never realising there wasanother and nowhere in all that time had any mention of the 2 tracks beingdifferent ever cropped up. The CD single version I always knew is also the sameas was put on Pop Art expanded edition, so I guess this is what everyone justassumed was the track on the single. The pic disc version appears fairly uniqueto where the other version crops up.
