Description

This is a great item – a 1970 UK 1st pressing of ‘Medusa’ by British prog/hard rock group Trapeze.
Cited since by writer Jason Anderson as “one of the decade’s most underappreciated hard rock recordings”; this is a rare LP to find in decent condition!
This copy has a VG+ sleeve with some general storage wear and some TINY tears (top and opening edge – see pictures) and a disc that is an easy visual EX, a couple of small visible marks that can’t be felt with a finger.
This is a great example of a desirable 1st pressing, so grab a classic album on vinyl!

FYI:
This is a collection being sold on behalf of a client, whom has been collecting some 50 years. It includes many 1stowner and 1st pressing items - the majority of which are EX condition records in EX/VG+ graded sleeves due to spine wear; having been stored on a shelf without plastic sleeving.
I operate the online-sales arm of a UK record shop and therefore aim to ensure accuracy in grading – I visually grade unless I can feel a mark which warrants further play-testing.
Many of the discs themselves only have very minor marks, but do have groove buildup due to not having been out in years - while I have hand-cleaned with Isopropyl solution and a microfibre (and then tested where needed), some have resulting minor background crackle and really would sound fantastic with a further session on a professional cleaning machine!
Starting-prices have been chosen competitively given Discogs and Popsike, and items will be safely packaged for postage; with discs firstly decanted into new separate inners, that inner and the sleeve then being placed in a new plastic outer sleeve and then shipped using professional grade record-mailers.
1) Please request an invoice before making payment if you wish for an alternative postage option based on where you live, see options below.
2) I reserve the right to request tracked postage only on high-value items.
3) I only send to Russia via tracked postage due to previous mailers disappearing!
