Description
Ray Smith "travelin' with Ray" LP on JUDD JLPA 701. This is a super nice copy of this rock'n'roll rarity. Jacket is in great shape. Not even a hint of seam wear, no ring wear, image of Ray sitting in front of his tour bus is terrific! Spine is perfect. There is a small stain on the rear of the jacket that does not really disturb the images or writting. LP is in original thin rice paper inner sleeve. Very little wear is evident to the record. Conservative grading on this is VG+ to VG++. Only a few, very minor, paper scuffs are minutely detectable. Labels are immaculate. This thing is so glossy I have to think it simply didn't find it's way to a turntable often. Sad, cause there are some great pop/ rockabilly cuts on this thing. Not ferocious like "right behind you baby" but good rockin stuff none the less and his voice and phrasing have always struck me as unique. If you ever get the chance, check out his foray into garage "everybody's goin' somewhere" on diamond, one of my all time faves! Anyway, you'd be hard pressed for an upgrade on this, it's a real keeper. As usual, no reserve, low minimum bid. Good luck!
