Description
Extremely rare 1960s UK Beat / R'n'B / Psych / Pop.
Private Press, so obviously a very limited pressing. I've only found one other reference to it online - on Popsike: https://www.popsike.com/LP-JUST-FOR-THE-RECORD-by-THE-TRIBUTESRare/291384884949.html
So you'll have to excuse any lack of detail but research hasn't been easy!
Though the title implies that it's a live recording, I can't hear any crowd / audience noise. However, the levels / mix on each track are quite variable, so maybe the tracks were recorded at different performances - who knows?

Release Date: 1968
Condition: The vinyl looks clean and there are no spindle marks on the label, so I don't think it's been played too many times. However, I've done a play-test (using my Rega Planar P2, with Audio Technica WMN 30EN cartridge) and found that there's some surface noise on a few tracks, so I'll grade each track individually (see below). Overall, I think the LP just about scrapes into VG+ as what crackle exists is only really audible / distracting during quiet passages. But i've 'officially' graded it at VG, in order to avoid disappointing the buyer!
Obviously, the sleeve is not great condition, though it's intact. It's clearly been knocked about a bit and has some staining ('foxing'?). It's heavyweight cardboard and opens from the top, rather than at the side.
I've given the vinyl a thorough clean myself, but it may respond better and lose some of the more stubborn surface noise if you have access to a record cleaning machine.
