Original 1975 German pressing on Harvest Records (1 C 062-29 567).
Considered one of the defining albums of 1970s European progressive rock, Spartacus is Triumvirat's acclaimed concept album based on the life of the legendary Roman gladiator. Frequently compared to Emerson, Lake & Palmer for its ambitious arrangements and extensive keyboard work, the album remains a favorite among progressive rock collectors.
This original German Harvest pressing features the distinctive green and yellow Harvest labels with "Made in Germany" designation and EMI Electrola credits.
The jacket remains in strong condition with excellent gloss and vibrant artwork. Light shelf wear, minor edge wear, and a small vintage price sticker are present, but the cover remains highly presentable with no significant structural issues.
The vinyl retains outstanding gloss and presents beautifully, showing only minimal signs of handling under normal lighting.
Ultrasonically cleaned for ~30 minutes, microfiber finish & air-dried; fully play-tested; new anti-static inner sleeve; stored with jacket in new outer sleeve.
An excellent original German pressing of one of progressive rock's most respected concept albums.
