Description
Here's a chance to own a very rare lp " Trombone By Three " by Jay Jay Johnson, Kai Winding and Bennie Green. This features a wonderful cover by Andy Warhol and prominently displays his signature in the lower right corner. This is part of the very short-lived 16 RPM series Prestige tried in the fifties. The cover is featured as #16 in the Catalogue raisonné of Andy Warhol's record cover art.
Condition:
This is a very nice copy with a few minor flaws [see pictures]. There is a small stain above the horn of the musician on the right. Also, there is a very small spot on the face of the middle musician. The top edge appears to have been split and repaired. This is visible, but not distracting. The cover retains mosy of the original gloss. Overall, a very nice cover!
The back cover has quite a bit of spotting and small stains, as visible in the photo. Also some of the titles have been circled [also visible in the photo].
The record is in strong VG condition, with minor scuffs and light marks, but no deep scratches or gouges.

I forgot to mention there is also a thin line of discoloration along the opening edge of the front cover. This may not be completely visible in the photo. I wanted to point this out even though it does not detract from the overall condition.
