Description
This is the rare original deep groove RVG-stamped pressing of “Trombone by Three” on Prestige PRES 16-4. The flat rim playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The laminated West 50th St. cover, with artwork by Andy Warhol, is in excellent condition – bright and clean throughout; age toning on the left and right edges of the front and back slick; ¼” wear at the bottom of the back slick; ¼” wear at the bottom right corner. Glassine inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Kenny Dorham, Gerry Mulligan, Tommy Potter, and Art Blakey. Prestige issued only six titles at the 16 2/3 RPM speed, all of which are now quite rare. $250.00.
