Description
I always removed the sleeved record from the Jacket, so it will not split the Jacket. If the record is sealed, I will not removed the record from the sleeve
FORMAT: 12 INCH 33 RPM
CONDITION OF RECORD: G+, THAT'S THE BAD NEWS, GOOD NEWS IS IT PLAYS TROUGH WITH NO SKIPS OR JUMPS
THE GROOVES AND GLOSS ARE AT 80% OR BETTER, BUT HAS A LOT OF LIGHT SCRATCHES
THE SOUND QUALITY IS FREE FROM DISTORTION, WITH LIGHT POPS ONLY REALLY NOTICABLE IN THE MELLOW PARTS, MORE GOOD NEWS IS THE MELLOW SPOTS ARE FEW AND FAR BETWEEN
I PLAY TESTED THIS ALBUM FROM BEGINNING TO END AND WAS VERY ENJOYABLE LISTENING
(SEE GRADING SCALE BELOW)
USE THE ZOOM FEATURE FOR LABEL CONDITION
CONDITION OF COVER: SAME G+ WITH NO SPLITS BUT MODERATE/HEAVY WEAR (PICTURES ARE OF THE ALBUM FOR SALE)
SONGS: SEE PICTURES OF LABELS
GRADING SCALE:
NEAR MINT: No visible signs of wear or damage.
VG++: Same as NEAR MINT, but might have some light paper scuffing or a very tiny mark, both have zero affect on the play. The Gloss and Grooves are at 99% or better.
VG+: Still has at least 95% of the Gloss with some light scuffs and light marks, the Grooves are at least 85%, the sound quality is to the original intent with a few light pops here and there.
VERY NICE VG: Same as VG, but the Gloss is 90% or higher and the Grooves are at 80% or higher.
VG: Still has at least 85% of the Gloss with some scuffing and a few light marks, the Grooves are at least 75%, sound quality is pretty close to the original intent , you will have some light pops.
VG-: Still shiny but without the luster of a new record, with some scuffs & light scratches. Sound quality is generally free from distortion with some light noise and/or light pops.
G+: Still has some good gloss and the grooves are 65% or better, plays through and is enjoyable listening, but will have many issues.
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE MESSAGE ME
REMEMBER TO CHECK THE TRACKING FORCE FOR YOUR STYLUS, SET TO LIGHT CAN AFFECT THE SOUND QUALITY, SET TO HEAVY CAN CAUSE PREMATURE WEAR FOR YOUR RECORD AND YOUR STYLUS.
MOST ARE SET BETWEEN 2.0 AND 3.5, IF YOU DON'T KNOW YOUR STYLUS TYPE, START AT 2.0 AND GO UP FROM THERE.
A TONE ARM THAT'S IS TO LIGHT YOU WILL HERE WHAT SOUNDS LIKE STATIC ON A CLEAN RECORD, GO UP .5 UNTIL YOU COME TO 3.5, IF SOUND QUALITY IS STILL BAD IT MAY BE THE RECORD
