Turid, "Vittras Visor"
On offer here is a copy of the very rare swedish acid folk-album Turid, "Vittras Visor" from 1971. Heavyweight vinyl swedish original pressing! Silence SRS 4609. Beautiful music similar to early Joni Mitchell, Linda Perhacs and Bridget St John.
Record: VG+
Shiny vinyl with light surface marks and hairlines. These early Silence records were suffering from bad pressing quality, and this copy is no exception. Plays with background crackle. The record has a sounding surface mark at the end of track A2 and a bit into track A3. The rest of the record is VG+.
Light blue labels with a few spindlemarks. No stickers or writing.

Sleeve: VG+
Extremely fragile unlaminated thin sleeve that is near impossible to find in any descent condition. This copy has wear on spine and top and bottom seams, but no splits or rips. There is no ringwear. Front sleeve has a price tag at upper right corner. The previous owner has written his name and date at the top of the back sleeve. Please see the pictures!
The great sleeve artwork was designed and painted by Turid Lundqvist herself.
Grading
Records are graded very conservatively, and inspections are done under a strong halogen lamp. I follow the Record Collector grading system.
Record cleaning and playing
All my records are carefully cleaned using a professional Loricraft PRC 6 record cleaning machine for superior sound and supreme vinyl preservation. After cleaning the record is put in a brand new lined inner sleeve. Of course, the original inner sleeve is always included if existing.
The amount of surface noise, crackle etc depends on the condition of the record, but also on the kind of equipment used. This record has been graded using an extremely revealing top quality high end system. Turntable: Brinkmann Balance. Tonearm: Thales Simplicity. Cartridge: Lyra Atlas SL, tracking at 1.72 grams.
