Description

  • A vintage Leatherette covered record album book for the storage of the included twelve popular 78-RPM vinyl records from the 1950's by various artists.
  • The book is in good vintage condition, with no tears and little wear, although the binding is getting somewhat loose from the weight of the records it contains.  The cover has some minor marks and some minor wear, although the inside sleeves are in excellent condition.  The book's paper index has been filled out in pencil for the records contained in it.
  • The book comes with twelve classic records listed below:
  1. The Four Aces, "In Apple Blossom Time" and "Mr. Sandman";
  2. Guy Mitchell with Mitch Miller, "Belle Belle, My Liberty Belle" and "Sweetheart of Yesterday";
  3. The Weavers, "Across the Wide Missouri" and "On Top of Old Smokey";
  4. Eddie Fisher, "Fanny" and "Count Your Blessings";
  5. Vaughn Monroe & His Orchestra, "Old Soldiers Never Die" and "Love and Devotion";
  6. Johnny Desmond, "You're In Love With Someone" and "The Yellow Rose of Texas";
  7. Eddie Arnold, "Kentucky Waltz" and "A Million Miles From Your Heart";
  8. Weill-Brecht, "A Theme From The Three Penny Opera", Galhardo-Vale-Portela, "Lisbon Antigua", La Bastria Tenniman, "Tutti Frutti" and Robert Guidry, "See You Later Alligator";
  9. Beatrice Kay And The Elm City Four, "Waiting For The Robert E. Lee" and "Honey Boy";
  10. Arthur Whittemore and Jack Lowe, "Temptation" and "The Neurotic Goldfish";
  11. Dennis Day, "Mona Lisa" and "A Shawl of Galway Grey;
  12. Stuart Hamblen, "This Ole House" and "When My Lord Picks Up The Phone".
  • The overall condition of the records is very acceptable, although the records have not been graded nor have they been tested, but appear very lightly used, stored well and in good condition.
  • All pictures are of the item described and are representative of the used condition of the item.  Reasonable offers are always welcome and will be considered.
