Shakin' All Over
(Everybody's Goin' To) Rollerland
Hot Rockin' from the Far North! Here it is, the two sided classic, recorded live at a real dance at a roller rink in Plattsburgh , NY in 1964 (Really, it was, no phony dubbing. There's pictures of them playing at the actual dance on the 'net). It's also the first North American version of "Shakin' All Over", preceding the Guess Who's version by about a year. This is not a bootleg or a repro but an original 45.
The record is VG+/M-. There is what appears to be some groove wear on "Shakin" and a small pressing indentation. I spot played the record and it played to grade. There was a bit of crackle at the very beginning of both sides and then it was masked by the music which played loud, strong and undistorted.
I don't believe that there was a picture or custom label sleeve for this record. This copy is in a generic white sleeve.
