Two tough and tight tracks from July of 1971 as the mighty U Roy tackles the "Trenchtown Rock" version chanting 'Kingston 12 Shuffle' while the Wailers chime in with a wicked dub of "Concrete Jungle" on the fipside carrying plenty 'Ammunition'. According to the just issued and highly recommended book, BOB MARLEY & THE WAILERS: THE DEFINITIVE DISCOGRAPHY by Roger Steffens and Leroy Jodie Pierson, this is the original pressing of the tunes. These were cut circa July 1971 with "Kingston 12 Shuffle" including Bob on vocal and guitar, Peter Tosh on melodica, harmony vocal and piano, Bunny Wailer with harmony vocal & bass, U Roy the DJ, Carlton Barrett on drums, Wally Williams playing guitar, and Alvin "Seeco" Patterson adding percussion. Carlton Lee and Andy Capp engineered it at West Indies Studio in Kingston, Jamaica on 4 track and produced by The Wailers.

"Amunition" featured the same basic line-up with Bunny on bass, adding Winston Wright on organ, Tommy McCook on tenor sax and Vin Gordon on trombone with engineering by Errol Thompson at Randy's Studio 17 on a four track, also produced by The Wailers. The ORIGINAL Tuff Gong Jamaican vinyl is in VG condition with no skips, no warp. No handwriting anywhere. Handstamped 'Tuff Gong King St.' on Kingston side & 'TUFF Gone EXPORT' on Amunition side. Made in Jamaica.
