A perfect rarity for the U2 collector!

"Die Eindecktung der Loreley '83" says the cover: "the discovery of Lorelei '83" - a reference to the spectacular performance at the televised Rockpalast show which finally helped U2 break into Germany. This single was released late in 1983 to capitalise on that performance and consolidate U2's growing following. "40" was released only in Germany in this one format! There were no releases of this in other areas of the world. "40" would appear on Under a Blood Red Sky, a live EP released in 1983 as well. That version of "40" was recorded at the Loreley Festival which this single mentions on the cover.
