Up for auction is the now famous Australian 12' RED vinyl of "Angel of Harlem" by U2.
This special release was issued in Australia in 1988 through FESTIVAL RECORDS.
This issue is 1 of only 250 copies ever made !!
IF YOU LOOK CAREFULLY AT THE 3RD PHOTO, YOU WILL NOTICE THAT THIS COPY IS QUITE UNIQUE IN THAT IT HAS BEEN MISPRESSED WITH A BIG BLACK SPOT WITHIN THE RED WAX !!
This is the first time I have seen a mispress of this particular 12' red vinyl.

The Sleeve is graded as EX+ --> NM
The Red Vinyl is graded as EX+ ( It does feature the mispress, it also features some ghosting on one side of the vinyl, this is also likely to be a production mispress, it is quite common on Aussie coloured vinyl, especially the RED WAX !!)

Grading Definitions MINT (M): The record is in perfect, brand new condition. The surfaces will be glossy and shiny. It will not be marked and the sound will not have deteriorated.The cover, inner sleeve and all accompanying items (eg: lyric sheet) are in perfect condition. NEAR MINT (NM): The record is close to perfect (mint) and will be in a glossy and shiny condition. It will not be marked and the sound will not have deteriorated.

The sleeve may have only slight wear or creasing. VERY GOOD + (VG+): The record has obviously been played many times and may have started to lose its gloss and shine. There may be noticeable surface marks and some minor background noise (crackle) between tracks or during quieter moments.

The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc.
The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
