Description
For auction here is a STEREO copy of the album ACHTUNG BABY by U2 on the Island label. This is a rare UK 1st pressing dating from 1991.
The catalogue number is U28. This copy has the rare cover with the naked picture of Adam which was later withdrawn.
Visually the vinyl grades EX+. Apart from a few very light removal trace lines there is hardly a mark on the vinyl, a superb copy. I have played it through and it sounded great, with no sticks or jumps, just the occasional light static click here and there. it is clear that this album has not had very many plays.
The labels grade EX+ they are clean with no writing or tears and no spindle wear.
The printed inner sleeve is EX+ with no writing, no splits and no tears. The lyric sheet is EX, again no writing, no tears just some very minor handling wear.
The outer cover grades EX. There are no bad creases, no tears and no writing, the spine is 100% and the edges show no wear. There are just a couple of very minor knocks from handling.
This is a brilliant copy of an album which is becoming harder to find in this great condition.
