Description
U2: Boy, UK Island ILPS 9646, 1980, first pressing LP. Comes with a rarer variation cover, having a ‘silk screen’ quality (black color in black/white photo shines when angled into light). It’s the first 1st pressing of this I’ve seen with this type of cover, which also have a warmer white color than most UK original pressings you see. DISC is perfect MINT(-), possibly played once, maybe never. Incredibly clean disc. Cover is EXCELLENT+, has minimal spot of wear on lower spine, no split. A-2U, B-1U matrixes. Innersleeve is MINT-, perfect (rare in itself). Overall a superb copy with a rarer variation cover. GOOD LUCK.

GRADINGS
- MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else.
- EX is also VERY nice, 2-3 light marks perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.
- VG+, a nice player, but probably has some visual impairments, and some clicks or light noise in places; always see the individual description.
- VG: Rarely put of for sale, an ok copy, but always see the individual description.
PLAYGRADING
I play-grade parts of or whole LPs to determine the actual sound-quality of the item. Palygrading is done on a quality system with an Linn LP12 as the main source.
SHIPPING
I SHIP IN BAND NEW CRUCIFORM shipping boxes with stiffeners & extra corner protection always added. .The boxes are slightly bigger than the normal LP-size, thereby providing good protection of corners and edges. I remove LPs from sleeves, in order to prevent seam-splits on transit.
