THE JOSHUA TREE ALBUM SAMPLER BOX. COMPLETE WITH ALL 5 7" SINGLES.
ONE OF THE MOST RARE U2 COLLECTIBLE VINYL ITEMS AND EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND.
SAMPLER NO.4 IS MISPRINTED!
IT HAS A LABEL ONLY ON ONE SIDE, ON THE OTHER SIDE THE LABEL IS MISSING! (see one of the photos above, it is all black without a label).
I haven't seen this label misprinted before and is propaply the only existing one..
ALL COVERS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, Cover no. 2, 3 and 4 show some damage which is visible on the photos, because they were attached. overall still in very nice condition!
ABOUT THIS Joshua Tree Album sampler set:
This set was released to promote the release of The Joshua Tree album in 1987. This boxed set contains five 7" singles. Each track from the Joshua Tree except for With or Without You was represented on these samplers.
Two versions of this set were released:
One version had plain white labels with just plain text, and the Island Records logo at the bottom of the label.
The other version featured a large grey "A" on the label behind the text.
Both versions are very hard to find, the version with plain white labels is scarcer and even harder to find.
The version I offer here is the version with plain white labels, so its the more scarce version.
On top of that this set holds sampler no.4 with a misprinted label as described.
