Description
U2 Magazines. The original official magazines, No's.1 to 10.
All mags have been sealed for past 20 years. Mint condition. No creases, no marks, no fading.
These are original magazines, not copies
Includes Issue 1, dated Nov 1981. The first ever U2 mag.
Opening paragraph in issue 1 says " Welcome the first issue of the U2 mag, which will come out four times a year from now on. The basic purpose will be to provide details and keep you up to date on all the news from the group, so if you feel like sending a gig review, record review or even sketches, please do so. There will also be a letters section from the next issue for you to air your comments and suggestions. I also hope to include some of the lyrics to U2 songs in each issue."
The mags were compiled and edited by Geoff Parkyn, Published by U2 Info Service.
I have the first ever 10 issues, From No.1 dated Nov 1981, through to No.10 dated Feb 1984.
This is a rare opportunity - I have not seen a the complete first 10 for sale anywhere. (It is sometimes possible to pick up the odd one, but not a set)
