Description

Probably for the first time on ebay a Super rare U2 7” single “New year’s day (Dia de ano Nuevo) / Two hearts beat as one (Dos Corazones Palpitan Como Uno)”, original edition from GUATEMALA !!!!! Distribuited by Discos De Centroamerica S.A. (DIDECA) catalogue # I-236. Songs titles are written on the label in English with Spanish translation. Never issued with a P/S, this copy comes housed in the original DIDECA generic sleeve from Guatemala !!!!! .Promotional records in Guatemala was never issued with it’s own promotional label as the common rule for other countries. This happened because there were few Radio, Record Shops etc..... however promotional copies were distribuited: usually with a sticker proclaming the promotional status or a promotional stamp. This copy comes with a red stamp on the A side, unfortunately a bit faded, from wich you can understand “Disco de promocion, proibita su venta” and a green “EXITO” Promo sticker !!!! Record in EX condition, few light paper surface signs, on the B side two surface signs a little more evident (visually graded, Not tested), both label with NO writings. VERY VERY RARE !!!!
