NEXT - A COUPLE MORE WEEKS WORTH OF VARIOUS COLLECTABLE VINYL LPs AND 12" EPs! This is the ORIGINAL 1997 ISLAND / POLYGRAM RECORDS U.S. PROMO ONLY DOUBLE 12" EP SET titled 'U2 Popmart Sampler', containing eight remixes of U2 songs produced to promote U2's 'Popmart' tour in 1997. It is Island / Polygram Records U.S. catalog number PR12 7545-1, and is a RARE PROMO ONLY ITEM which has not been offered on eBay either at auction or at fixed price sale during the past month as far as I can tell. Inscriptions on the back cover and the record labels indicate a promo copy. This set also includes the originally included 4" square promo sticker for the 1997 Howie B album titled 'Turn The Dark Off' - Howie B toured with U2 on the 'Popmart' tour, and also worked on one track in this set. I have scanned the sticker with the cover of this set so that both could be shown in the accompanying image - The Howie B sticker IS NOT AFFIXED TO THE ALBUM COVER, the original paper backing with advertising blurb is still affixed to the back of the sticker. Tracks: Lemon (Bad Yard Club Mix 8:34), Numb (The Soul Assassins Mix 3:57), Happiness Is A Warm Gun (The Danny Saber Mix 4:51), Pop Muzik (Pop Mart Mix - Vocal by Bono 8:50), Mysterious Ways (The Perfecto Mix 7:05), Last Night On Earth (First Night In Hell Mix 5:51), Discotheque (DM Deep Club Mix 6:59), Even Better Than The Real Thing (The Perfecto Mix 6:39).. Condition of both records is a SOLID NM with no visible surface marks. Condition of Howie B promo sticker is a SOLID NM with no visible flaws. Condition of cover is a high VG+ with a few very small wrinkles, a little contact and ring wear, and a little wear along the edges and on the corners, cover has no splits, tears, stickers, or writing.
