U2 "SONGS OF SURRENDER" LIMITED EDITION EXCLUSIVE 'SPHERE EDITION' RED VINYL 2LP
Brand new / sealed / unplayed.
***Please note that although this record is brand new and still sealed and so the vinyl remains unplayed, unfortunately the outer sleeve has got a couple of dings and creases to it (I received it like this myself).
There is a 'ding' to the top right and bottom right corners when looking at the vinyl from the front, and also a 'ding' to the bottom left corner when looking at the vinyl from the back.
In regards to creases, there is a very slight crease on the front of the sleeve by Larry's picture, and also another very slight crease on the front of the sleeve by Adam's picture.
I have tried to show all of these dings and creases as best I could in the photos for this listing, and wanted to make any prospective buyer fully aware, etc.
I have therefore priced the vinyl accordingly as well, as this variant usually sells for much more than my listing price.***
"Songs of Surrender" is an album of re-recorded songs by Irish rock band U2. Produced by guitarist the Edge, it was released on 17 March 2023 on Island Records and Interscope Records.
Largely the effort of the Edge and lead vocalist Bono, the album comprises re-recorded and reinterpreted versions of 40 songs from the group's back catalogue, many in stripped-down and acoustic arrangements. The album is a companion to Bono's memoir, "Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story", released in 2022 and which was structured into 40 chapters titled after U2 songs.
Rearranged versions of the songs were first included in the audiobook edition of the memoir, and were performed by Bono during the book's promotional tour.
