U2 - The Unforgettable Fire
Label: Island - L-18002 Format: 12" Vinyl SingleCountry: Australia Released: 1985 Notes: The Australian pressing of this single features different versions of "Love Comes Tumbling" and "A Sort of Homecoming" exclusive to this edition. "A Sort of Homecoming" is a different mix featuring an additional backing vocal by the Edge. "Love Comes Tumbling" features an entirely different lead vocal track with different lyrics. Again these appear to be exclusive the Australian 12" edition and have never appeared anywhere else. When this was first pressed in Australia, in the two instances in which the word 'Unforgettable' appears on the cover (once on the front and once on the back - there is no writing on the spine), it was spelled incorrectly, with only one 'T'. This was the first issue. When the mistake was realized, the covers were recalled and a new cover was printed up...however, they missed the spelling on the back and only the front was corrected. This was the second issue. These were not withdrawn and were allowed to run out/sell out. Festival were made aware of the second issue's back cover error early on, and after they'd sold out, they eventually corrected the back cover spelling as well. That one was the third issue.
