The record has not been removed from the sleeve.
The jacket sleeve(outer cover) has some minor DAMAGE. The upper border of the cover has a minor tear that is about an inch and a half, and there are other minor creases. PLEASE READ: This limited pressing included many jackets that had creases, and minor or tiny damage. I have only average eyesight, and believe the jacket to be in MINT condition, but due to errors by the original manufacturer, I can't promise it will be perfect, but 99% of all U2 fans will be happy with this, as long as the cover is in decent condition, and the record has never been removed from the jacket, and in this case, it has never been played or opened.

THIS ONE is NUMBER 2225.
I bought several copies in the first week of release. I paid $59 plus shipping for this one, and am listing it below cost, as I am in need of the money. I did not notice the damge to the sleeve in the first few weeks after buying it This LP is hardly ever available for under $60, and still sells for over $100 in auctions on ebay.
The live versions of "Mercy," and "Moment of Surrender" are not available on CD.
"Mercy" is not available on any other U2 release or any other media.
If only 5,000 of these were made, why are there numbers well past 6,000?
This explanation was given from a link from U2.com:
"During the manufacturing process, some jackets get damaged during the numbering process. These jackets are destroyed, but we do not go back and re-set the numbering machine for each damaged jacket. We simply run numbers past 5,000. If we didn’t do this, we would end up with much less than 5,000 total units." My opinion is that most of the jackets made for this release had at least minor damage. It is not easy to see, but it is there on most of them. As a huge record collector, I have seen over 100 of these U2 records, most just have tiny creases or tiny tears.
Side A features the never before released song "Mercy", recorded in Brussels on 9/22/10. Side B features "I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight", recorded in Dublin on 7/27/09, and a live version of "Moment Of Surrender", recorded in Paris on 9/18/10. The live version of “Crazy” was previously released on the 2009 U2.com member-exclusive remix album "Artificial Horizon."
Shipping with insurance will be $6 in the USA only. I will include Free insurance, but you must keep all original packaging and the insurance slip if a claim is needed for shipping damage. International Buyers: please send me a message before bidding. I will simply cancel the sale if there is no communication for a possible international sale. International Shipping to most of Europe will be $20 without Insurance. International Shipping with insurance is usually around $40 or more overseas, so it may simply not be worth it to you.
