Description

U2    new years day   original double single release with live versions of fire and i threw a brick   fully signed by the whole band in march 1983 at hammersmith palais records in excellent condition cover is excellent apart from a couple of small creases on cover that can be seen in the pictures  , my friend who i went with is a mate of mike peters of the alarm who was playing with u2 on a song,he was great to get us to meet them and sign our stuff, the alarm were excellent at times in their own right and brilliant in concert. i gave bono some of my food at a concert in aylesbury that they did but he did not remember me a few years on.early u2 were bloody amazing and energetic,i went to see them at wembley many years later right at the back wondering how my boys will ever get the same as we had and could meet the bands.i am selling off my old punk stuff that has laid forgotten about for over thirty years hopefully some one can do it all justice,some of the stuff i have sold the buyers are obviously fans and are framing the items, it is good to have spoken to them and reminisced great times
