I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A LARGE COLLECTION FROM AN OLD MUSIC INDUSTRY PERSON, THE COLLECTION INCLUDES MANY UNIQUE PROMOS, TEST PRESSINGS, WHITE LABELS, FIRST PRESSINGS AND ALL ORIGINAL AND IN NEAR MINT COLLECTION, OR EVEN UNPLAYED, BANDS LIKE: JOY DIVISION, U2, DEPECHE MODE, PEARL JAM, THE SMITHS, PAUL WELLER, OASIS, GARY NUMAN, SMASHING PUMPINKS ETC... SO KEEP WATCHING MY AUCTIONS OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS !!!
This is a UNIQUE AND VERY RARE ORIGINAL UK 2 ONE SIDED TEST PRESSINGS FOR THE ALBUM "THE UNFORGETTABLE FIRE" by the band U2 from 1984, ORIGINAL UK 2 ONE SIDED TEST PRESSINGS IN NEAR MINT UNPLAYED CONDITION AND A MUST !!! This is the rare and UNIQUE, UK 2 ONE SIDED TEST PRESSINGS FOR THE U2 1984 ALBUM "THE UNFOREGTTABLE FIRE", SIDE 2 ON BOTH ALBUMS IS BLANK AND PLAYS A TONE !!! It also comes with the ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVES which are stamped with release dates and hand written catalogue numbers: for some reason the release dates are different 24 AUGUST 1984 and 4 SEP 1984, probably the release date got moved by a week, also written are the catalogue numbers: U25-AUY and U25B-4U. The matrix numbers are: VINYL 1 : SIDE 1: U 25 A-1U-1-1-1 machine stamped. SIDE 2: LP FB120 and 1 and 30 all machine stamped (THIS SIDE IS BLANK AND PLAYS A TONE !!!). VINYL 2 : SIDE 1: U 25 B-1U-1-1-1 machine stamped. SIDE 2: LP FB120 and 1 and 30 all machine stamped (THIS SIDE IS BLANK AND PLAYS A TONE !!!). This 2 ONE SIDED TEST PRESSINGS also comes with the ORIGINAL ALBUM COVER and ORIGINAL ALBUM INNER SLEEVE. This 2 ONE SIDED TEST PRESSINGS were pressed by ISLAND RECORDS, catalogue number U 25. The condition is: BOTH VINYL are in EX++++ / NEAR MINT condition (played a couple of times only), ORIGINAL STAMPED / WRITTEN INNER SLEEVES are in EX+++ condition, ORIGINAL P/S + ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE are in EX condition (there is a minor split on the spine of the picture sleeve)
