Early 1980, UB40 scored their first success with "Food For Thought", reaching high positions in the charts. By the time they released their first album they were already so successful that they had signed off on unemployment benefit, leading to the stamped Signing Off featured on form 40, for the sleeve of their debut album.
UB40 - COLLECTED has captured all the different phases of the band in one complete album, from classic hits combined with the new!

A principios de 1980, UB40 obtuvo su primer éxito con "Food For Thought", alcanzando altas posiciones en las listas de éxitos. Cuando lanzaron su primer álbum ya tenían tanto éxito que habían firmado el subsidio de desempleo, lo que dio lugar al sello Signing Off que figura en el formulario 40 (una tarjeta de registro emitida por el Departamento de Empleo a una persona que se registra como desempleada), para la carátula de su álbum debut.
UB40 - COLLECTED ha reunido todas las diferentes fases de la banda en un álbum completo, desde éxitos clásicos combinados con los nuevos.
