180g VINYL + HALF SPEED MASTERING

Our collectable vinyl re-issues are as close as possible to the original LPs.

The LPs are mastered at Half Speed at the legendary Abbey Road Studios, then pressed onto 180g vinyl, offering the listener the best ever sounding version of the album.

The recordings are remastered by Jon Astley (The Who, Led Zeppelin, George Harrison & many others).

The sleeves are printed from superior quality scans with detailed reproduction artwork.

UFO’s unique second album, originally released in 1971.

Confident and focused, the band embraced the cosmic sounds of Mick Bolton's guitar and made the transition from blues and psychedelia to heavy cosmic rock. There is some spacy stuff to be heard on extended arrangements like ‘Silver Bird’ and ‘Star Storm’ that have long, trippy instrumental passages.

Including perennial UFO favourites ‘Prince Kajuku’ and ‘The Coming Of Prince Kajuku’, the album climaxes with the slow and ethereal ‘Flying’, one of UFO’s longest recorded works.

Repertoires Sammler-Editionen und Vinyl-Wiederveröffentlichungen werden möglichst originalgetreu hergestellt und beinhalten auch die für die 60er Jahre typische Innenhülle. Die LPs wurden in den legendären Abbey Road Studios in Half Speed remastert und dann als 180g Vinyl gepresst. Dies garantiert dem Hörer den bestmöglichen Klang. Alle Cover sind von hochwertigen Scans der Original-Cover mit Blick auf alle Feinheiten des damaligen Artworks neu gefertigt.

UFO’s zweites Album aus dem Jahr 1971.
Die Band war jetzt um einiges selbstbewusster und fokussierter, als sie ihren kosmischen Sound unter der Leitung von Mick Boltons Gitarre vom Blues zu Psychedelic- und Heavy Rock weiterentwickelten. Songs wie »Silver Bird« und »Star Storm« hatten längere instrumentale Passagen, die um einiges komplexer waren, als auf dem ersten Album. Dazu kamen Songs wie »Prince Kajuku« und »The Coming Of Prince Kajuku«, die zu Klassikern der Band wurden, sowie »Flying«, eines der längsten Stücke, die UFO jemals aufgenommen haben.

Das Ergebnis ist ein wirklich historisches Album, das in keiner UFO Plattensammlung fehlen darf.
