Force It is the fourth studio album to be released by UFO in 1975 and is the second album to feature their melodic monster of a guitar player Michael Schenker who was formerly in the Scorpions with his older brother Rudolph Schenker. Michael Schenker brought an entirely new sound to the band. Previously UFO was more or less a garage/space rock group, but with the aptitude of Schenker on guitar they became synonymous with the best in the pantheon of hard rock & heavy metal. Force it was produced by Leo Lyons (bass player for Ten Years After) Force It also has Chick Churchill (also from Ten Years After) handling the keyboards. Force It is one of the most solid albums in the UFO canon and the songs have endured till’ this day and often make the UFO in concert live set list. Force It was the first album to chart in the US which fueled the band to rise to a new status in the annals of hard melodic rock. A position that they have maintained ever since.

This Newly Remastered version of Force It is offered here as a Double LP with Bonus Material on Black Vinyl. The second disc has a live set from the Record Plant in Los Angeles recorded September 23, 1975 for KMET Radio and includes the Bonus Track “A Million Miles” which was not available previously on vinyl.
