Description
Here we have a VG+/VG+ copy of 'UFO - UFO 1' LP on UK Beacon BEAS 12 from 1970. The front-laminated sleeve is in tight and bright condition. There are a couple of light creases on the front along with a small bit of laminate 'lift' at the top right. The matt back of the cover is clean and tidy with only a small white scrape in the middle of the bottom edge to mention. Due to only one side being laminated the sleeve does not lie totally flat (see photo) So, not perfect but a very clean and solid sleeve with only minor issues...VG+. The disc itself is in great shape, under bright light there are fine 'whispers' visible but otherwise it's visual grade would be EX. I played the whole record and apart from some very light crackle here and there, I only heard 3 or 4 soft 'pops' on 'Melinda' on side one and a couple of seconds crackle at the beginning of 'Who Do You Love' on side two. Overall I grade the audio as VG+, a very listenable record and one i'd be delighted to keep in the collection! I've been a UFO fan for 40 years and never gone back before 'Phenomenon' so it was a very pleasant surprise to hear this after all these years.
