180gr vinyl in a glossy cover! Repertoire collector's editions and vinyl re-releases are produced as true to the original as possible and also contain the inner cover typical of the 1960s. The LPs were remastered in the legendary Abbey Road Studios at Half Speed ??and then pressed as 180g vinyl. This guarantees the listener the best possible sound. All covers are made from high quality scans of the original covers with a view of all the subtleties of the artwork at the time. UFO paved the way for British heavy metal and gained tons of fans in the early 1970s. The band was an experience live, but their first album UFO 1 was also full of brilliant ideas and the studio recordings were full of energy. It was the typical psych-space rock sound for the band, which should also determine the musical future of the 70s. In this early line-up with Phil Mogg (vocals), Pete Way (bass), Mick Bolton (guitar) and Andy Parker (drums), they developed their very own space rock style with excursions into the blues.
