Description

Rare 12" DJ single sent to selected progressive FM radio stations during the summer of 1977 (a handful of AM stations got a 7" version). It features a rare, 'not available anywhere else' edited version of TRY ME. Despite the hype sticker's claim that the song was a "single," it never was released in that format. The song did get released in 1979 in Europe as a B-side, but it was the standard LP version. 

This promo is the only way to get the ultimate UFO/Schenker rarity...a radio airplay version of perhaps rock's first power ballad. Don't let this one get away -- you won't see it again.

Label & catalog number: Chrysalis CHS-5-PDJ

Side 1 condition: NM+ (rare non-album 3:25 version)

Side 2 condition: NM+ (standard 4:52 LP version)

Generic White Sleeve (with white hype sticker) condition: VG/VG+ (with four small strategically placed pieces of scotch tape)

Comments: Vinyl in perfect condition. No spindle marks around the center hole.
