Glenn A Baker compilation of 60's OZ garage bands.
Raven Records.
Hard to get copy of now deleted LP. Extensive liner notes and photos.

U.S. and U.K. audiences were totally unaware at the time, but Australia was home to a thriving garage-punk scene in the mid-'60s. The scope and output of these groups were limited by the country's population, which was only about 15 million or somewhat less, after all. But there was a surprisingly large number of fine singles, some of which measured up to the manic, over-the-top R&B-derived energy of anything coming from Texas, California, or London. Volumes 1- 4 provides some of the best '60s garage compilations ever, filled with good hooks, screams, and crunching riffs. 1. The Loved Ones - Everlovin' Man
2. The Pleazers - Hurtin' All Over
3. Machine Gun Kelly's Rejects - I'm Going Back
4. The Others - Why Can't She Be Mine
5. The Twilights - I'm Not Talking
6. Tony Barber - I Want Her Too
7. The Lost Souls - This Life Of Mine
8. The Throb - One Thing To Do
9. The Modes - Baby Please Don't Go
10. The La De Da's - How Is The Air Up There?
11. Chants R&B - Neighbour, Neighbour
12. The Bluestars - Social End Product
13. Larry's Rebels - Flying Scotsman
14. Steve & The Board - Farmer John
15. The Bobby James Syndicate - Hey Hey Hey
16. The Showmen - Naughty Girl
17. Russ Kruger - Keep Me Satisfied
18. The Easybeats - For My Woman

Almost all my records have not seen a turntable in over 25 years. They have been stored on on shelving, so some may have some ring wear or shelf damage. If so, any flaws will be described as accurately as possible. They have been very well looked after and most in a plastic sleeve. I have done my best to describe their condition.
