UHQR: SUPERTRAMP/CRIME OF THE CENTURY
Supertramp’s Crime of the century is a recording industry phenomenon – pure of sound, complex layered orchestral arrangements, a concept album with so many excellent songs that you are hard pressed to choose a favorite. This UHQR by Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs is a limited edition #3981 of 5000. Pressed in May of 1981 by JVC (Japan Victor Co.), the album is in mint condition with all original packaging and certificate of authenticity. The box shows some normal wear of an album this old on the face and back from albums on either side being moved and there is a very faint stain on the certificate. The UHQR was only played a couple of times on a B&O with a sapphire stylus, only one owner who is a freak about his stereo equipment and the handling of vinyl. Non-smoking home in a humidity- controlled environment.
