Description
The stupendous UK Decca stereo SXL 2012, Grieg's Peer Gynt incidental music, with the the London Symphony conducted by Oivin Fjeldstad. UK grooved wide band ED1 "Original Recording by" pressing. Original price sticker on jacket is dated February, 1960.
Play-graded with a Grado 1042 cartridge--Music Hall MMF-5 TT. The disc looks splendid and glossy, with some small scuffs, and plays extremely well, about NM. Excellent, dynamic sound with tremendous presence (and bass!)--among the best I've ever heard. Small sticker pulls on the labels. The blue back, floppy scalloped sleeve is sharp-edged, crisp and bright--with some yellowed areas--VG+.
New Nagaoka inner sleeve added to the original, and mylar outer sleeve.
Forgot to mention there are some light spindle trails on both sides of the label.
