Description

Original UK Decca stereo LP SXL 2179: Beethoven's Piano Concerto No.5, the "Emperor," played by Wilhelm Backhaus, conducted by Hans Schmidt-Isserstedt with the VPO. UK grooved wide band ED1 pressing.
Play-graded with a Grado 1042 cartridge--Music Hall MMF-5.1 TT.  The disc plays quietly at about NM; there are a couple of soft tics at the beginnings of both sides. The disc looks great, too.  Excellent sound.  Flip-back jacket is crisp and solid, but has a touch of fading and bumped corners, so VG+.
