Description
Very rare UK Nick Drake record from 1969
Five Leaves Left
1st press
Pink Island ILPS 9184
Release date: September 1969
1st press
Stamped matrix numbers: ILPS-9105 A2/B2
The record is visually graded as a EX++ and Mint-. Has only a few light surface marks from in and out and very less surface hairlines. NOT the typical scratched copy ! The record is 100% flat and plays without skips or sticks. Beautiful shiny vinyl. Side two plays with minimal background noises. Side one has louder background noises and some pops, not to bad. We cleaned the record already but maybe you have a better cleaning machine. If you are unsatiesfied, you can send the record back.
The thick foldoutcover is in good VG+ condition. NO major faults. Has only light marks from aging and usage (please see attached pictures). But NO unwanted handwritings, tears or split. Thick foldoutcover.
Both label are free from any unwanted writings or stickers. Graded as EX+ .
Rumours said only 3000 copys were sold in 1969. So it is indeed a very rare record !!!
Please take a look at my other rare 60ies records on Ebay in different auctions.
On 30-Mar-11 at 10:16:39 BST, seller added the following information:The pops are not to loud, belongs more to the background noises. No "gun shots".
